A Sermon on Acts 16:25-40 by Elder Derrick Manalo
Watch the sermon here.
Introduction
The imprisonment of Paul and Silas in Philippi was the first of Paul’s arrest during his 35-year span in Ministry. There are 3-recorded instances of Paul’s arrest and the events that led to his arrest reveal a lot of things going on in the city. Here we Anti-Semitism, Fortune-telling Demons, and even Slavery. If we reflect on these things, our time today is not too far from when Paul and Silas lived.
Let us reflect on Acts 16 and how you and I are called to suffer for Christ.
