Why We Imitate Paul

1. Because he tells us to in Scripture

2. Because he can see Jesus better

3. Because he interprets the Christian life for Gentiles (like us)

4. Because he went deeper into spiritual things than anyone other than Jesus

Those Who Imitate Paul…

1. Will have a cruciformed mind (Phil. 3:15-16)

2. Will live for God’s glory (Phil. 3:17-21)

3. Will trust in God (Phil. 4:1-7)

   a) To protect their interests

   b) To provide their needs

   c) To enable them to live in joy and hope
